FIGHT LEGENDS AND THE MARTIAL ARTS

Tom’s family has a legacy of boxing excellence, with his grandmother’s brother the Commonwealth Heavyweight Champion and one of the most famous pre-WWI fighters in Ireland, and his father, a Marine who emerged as the undefeated Middleweight Armed Services Boxing Champion in the Pacific Theater during WWII.

True to tradition, Tom learned to box and wrestle at an early age, an interest which later evolved into using his political connections to help legalize the Ultimate Fighting Championship and professional mixed martial arts.  Through the relationships he formed within the MMA and professional wrestling communities, Tom formed Fight Legends with a friend to bring fighting champions to military bases to meet and train our troops, and to military hospitals to inspire hope and recovery to the combat injured.

Fight Legends also sponsored, with those champions as trainers, the amateur careers of a select group of interested military members.
